Our Doctors:
Dr. Matthew Klar:
Dr. Klar was born in Logan, Utah and traveled extensively throughout his childhood due to his father's career in wildlife biology. He received his bachelor's degree in Biology from Northern Michigan University in 1994 and his doctorate (D.V.M.) from Michigan State University in 1998. He joined the Burch Creek Team as an associate veterinarian in 1998 and became the medical director in 2005.
Dr. Klar is an avid backpacker and an amateur black and white photographer. He enjoys spending his free time exploring Utah's back country with his wife, three children and his dog. His non-hiking companions include two cats, a finch, and a ball python.
Dr. Klar has a special interest in dentistry and internal medicine and finds the most rewarding aspect of practice to be the daily opportunity to enhance the quality of life of our patients as well as that of the families who love them.
Dr. Eric Clough:
Dr. Clough joined our staff in April 2007 after a thirteen year career in South Florida. Born and raised in Texas, he attended Texas A&M University as an undergraduate earning his bachelors of science in Biomedical Science in 1989 and for his doctorate (D.V.M.) in 1994. Following veterinary school, he did an internship at Hollywood Animal Hospital in Florida.
An avid outdoors man, Dr. Clough was drawn to Utah's environment and geographical diversity. He enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, motorcycling, home projects and gardening. He has two dogs and four cats, and has been the owner of reptiles, rodents, and ferrets.
He finds the biggest rewards of practice are being involved in the recovery of family companions, the daily dynamics of practice, and the diverse medical and surgical challenges that keep him enthusiastic.
Dr. Allison Lenner:

She then attended the University of Illinois where she received her doctorate (D.V.M.) in 2009.
